About the research
The aim of the project is to design a system that assist managers and surgery schedulers to find and maintain an optimal surgery schedule using specalized algorithms and models. In order to enhance the usability of such a system an exmphasis will be put on the visualiztions of solutions and user interaction with the system. The project is a collabotation between the University of Iceland, Landspítalinn Hospital and a company yet to be founded. This collaboration creates a unique opportunity to establish a platform for a new product that is competitive in international markets.
